I cannot believe that Mr. D and I been married for 4 years now. It seems like just yesterday we were getting married. He was under so much stress this past week that I didnt even bring up our anniversary or make any plans. Surprisingly he remembered!
We were both craving some hibachi, but no where in this town does hibachi for lunch! This makes us miss Orlando just that much more. We landed up at Olive Garden because Mr. D was in the mood for some generic Italian.
Mr. D was going to surprise me with a babysitter and take me out, but I wanted to spend our anniversary as the 3 of us. How could I not want to take my little snuggle bunny with us. Hibachi it was for dinner! We prepped monkey that there was going to be fire, but everything was going to be safe, because we were there. Bribbed her with cupcakes from Sweet Surrender, yum.
A wonderful anniversary with my 2 favorites, I wouldnt want it any other way.
Mr. D also kindly reminded me that I get my ring next year :) so I reminded him he gets his Rolex next year too. Time to start stashing the cash.

Day Nine
So this diet hasnt been the easist thing. #1 reason/excuse is the weather. Hello I live in the sunshine state and its 38' outside. Everyone knows when its cold out you just want warm comfort food. No one wants to eat a salad in this weather. All I can think about is chili, cheeseburgers & hot chocolate. I am trying my best to keep my cravings in check, but I just love my dark chocolate.

Day Four
So its day four and things are going ok. the food has been a little bland but its ok. i couldnt find turkey breast so i got jeannie-o turkey burgers and put a little bit of mrs. dash original on it and it was really good, i was impressed. I have had a few little pieces of chocolate just to curb the sweet tooth. Excited to be geting back to real food and the receipes in the book. I suppose we shall see how it goes.
I know I need to start running a little, I want to get back into it. Maybe tonight I will go for a run, the weather is perfect out for it.

New Beginnings
December 31, 2009, I watched the movie Julie & Julia. A young woman about to turn 30, decided to cook her way through Julia Child's cookbook. 365 days to complete 524 receipes. However, cooking through the cookbook wasnt enough, she was going to blog about the entire experience. Therefore, I have decided with the new year and a new diet I am going to blog about my experience. I need something to keep me accountable, and I feel this is it.
I've had heard a lot about the Flat Belly Diet book, and then saw it again on the show "The Dr's" the other day. It was then I made the official deceision to get rid of the extra baby weight FINALLY!! Adyson, my daughter, is three and a half years old now, so I know it is way past time.
I went to Publix Thursday to gather the need ingredients for the first 4 days of the diet. In the book they call this the "Anti-Bloat Jumpstart." I am rather excited about the new lifestyle I am embarking on. There is a drink, called Sassy Water you should drink everday for the first 4 days. It consists of water (obviously), cucumber, lemons, mint & ginger. I prepared it last night so I can start first thing when I wake up.
Here is to a new year & a new me!
